Dear Friends,
I am pleased to announce that Caitlin Robinett Jachimowicz has been selected to serve as our law school’s Senior Assistant Dean for Enrollment, Strategy, and Operations.
Caitlin was chosen after an extensive national search led by a search committee chaired by Mike Flynn, Associate Dean for Global Engagement and Clinical Professor of Law, and composed of Andrew Corrales, Academic Communication & Technology Support Manager, Bradley Joondeph, Professor of Law, Patricia Lopez, Director of Law Financial Aid, and Phuong Tran, Finance Operations Manager. I am grateful to the committee for its diligence and great success in attracting outstanding candidates for this position.
As all of you who have had the chance to work with Caitlin already know, we are truly blessed to have her serve our law school community in this incredibly important leadership role. Caitlin has tremendous experience as an executive leader, highly-respected attorney, caring educator, effective policy-maker, productive legislator, steadfast fiduciary, and community servant.
A graduate of Santa Clara Law (J.D. ‘10) with a Certificate in Public Interest and Social Justice Law, Caitlin served as a law clerk for the Panetta Institute of Public Policy and was a Congressional Aide for Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren before practicing criminal defense and civil litigation for over ten years. During her time at Santa Clara Law, Caitlin served as President of the Student Bar Association and Editor-In-Chief of The Advocate. She studied philosophy and communication, receiving her B.A. magna cum laude from Seattle University.
Caitlin is a consummate professional and true servant-leader. She has evidenced a passion for inclusion and excellence in all levels of business management, human resources, financial stewardship, project management, legal practice, and legal education, including program development, student mentorship, curriculum development, and enrollment strategy.
As our new Senior Assistant Dean for Enrollment, Strategy, and Operations, Caitlin will continue to build on the terrific progress that she and her strong team–including Krissy Spence, our new Senior Director of Law Finance, Phuong Tran, Finance Operations Manager, Nanette Cannon, Director of Law Admissions, Yolanda Garcia, Data Processor, Patricia Lopez, Director of Law Financial Aid, Ryan Bindi, Financial Aid and Admissions Counselor, and Richard Landowski, our new Assistant Director of Enrollment and Operations—have accomplished in meeting our ambitious strategic goals in the increasingly interconnected areas of enrollment, finance, and operations.
Caitlin and her husband Josh (J.D. ‘11) have two children, Penelope (9) and Griffin (6), and live in Caitlin’s hometown of Morgan Hill, where she also has served as City Council Member and Elected Treasurer.
We are excited to welcome Caitlin to her new leadership role and look forward to the innovative contributions she will bring to Santa Clara Law.
With warm regards and great gratitude,

Michael J. Kaufman (He/Him/His)
