Ignatian Center for Jesuit Education
Brought about by the merger of the Bannan Center for Jesuit Education and the Pedro Arrupe Center for Community Based Learning in 2005, the Ignatian Center is dedicated to preserve and extend the unique mission and identity of Santa Clara University.
The Ignatian Center for Jesuit Education places many bi-lingual students at the Law Center each quarter.
These students are trained as interpreters, and then volunteer as interpreters at our Advice Clinics and other client interviews.
Since a large majority of the clients we serve are monolingual Spanish, the undergrads who serve as interpreters are invaluable.
