Mattia Corsiglia

Mattia M. Corsiglia teaches Critical Lawyering Skills and the Externship Workshop, engaging students with developing practical lawyering skills. He regularly provides individual counseling to students as it relates to professional development and career goals.

Mattia is an accomplished trial lawyer, first working as a Senior Associate at Jones Day litigating a variety of complex bet-the-company cases in the areas of commercial, antitrust, securities and class-action litigation. He currently works in the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office, Major Fraud Unit, prosecuting complex white-collar crime. At the District Attorney’s Office, he has prosecuted hundreds of felony criminal cases, overseen numerous multi-million dollar fraud investigations, and first-chaired numerous criminal jury trials to verdict.
