Leonard Lun

Leonard is the Founder & Principal of Upper V Athlete Management, an agency specializing in the management and representation of professional soccer players. He began his career with the San Jose CyberRays of the Women’s United Soccer Association (WUSA) where he developed, negotiated, and managed the team’s corporate partnerships. While with the team, he also handled various legal issues and drafted and reviewed a variety of contracts including regional television, professional services, and exhibition game agreements. Leonard then went on to work for the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association (NBA) where he managed the team’s strategic alliances.  His client list included well-known brand names such as 24 Hour Fitness, Jelly Belly Candy Company, and Carl’s Jr. Prior to founding Upper V Athlete Management, Leonard also held marketing and legal positions with the San Francisco 49ers, the Walt Disney Company, and Westfield, LLC. Leonard also spent over a decade as an executive with The Bar Association of San Francisco as the organization’s Director of Membership.

Leonard holds a Bachelor of Commerce with concentrations in Finance and International Business from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He also earned his Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from Santa Clara University’s School of Law and his Master of Business Administration degree (M.B.A.) from Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business.  He is a member of the State Bar of California and a California Registered Athlete Agent.
