
Sabiha Chunawala was most recently VP and Deputy General Counsel at Contentful Inc., serving as global legal advisor to the Go-to-Market (“GTM”) organizations consisting of sales, customer experience, partnerships, and marketing, managing a global team of legal professionals focused on revenue and procurement commercial transactions and privacy, and was also responsible for Contentful’s trademark portfolio. Additionally, Sabiha drove the development of foundational global policies for Contentful, advised product teams on pricing, packaging, and promotions, and most recently supported the launch of generative AI capabilities in Contentful’s platform. She also served on Contentful’s Inclusion & Diversity Committee. Prior to Contentful, Sabiha held leadership positions at Juniper Networks, Inc., and Portal Software, Inc., later acquired by Oracle Corporation.
Outside of work, Sabiha serves as an Lecturer at Santa Clara University School of Law, most recently teaching Technology Licensing. She also serves as a Library Commissioner for the Town of Los Gatos Library and on the Board for Iqra Fund. Sabiha gives back to the legal profession by mentoring students in the Santa Clara University School of Law: Entrepreneurship Law Clinic, Tech JD program, and SCU ChIPs chapter. Sabiha’s hobbies include hiking, traveling, and voraciously reading novels.
