
Professor Kinyon directs Santa Clara's Office of Academic & Bar Success, specifically focusing on courses and programs that prepare students for Bar admission. He meets with students on a range of issues, including: transitioning to law school, effective learning strategies, exam-writing, and preparation for the Bar Exam. Professor Kinyon teaches the Bar Exam Planning Workshop, Community Property, Evidence, and Property. He is the co-director of programming for first-generation students, and advises the OUTLaw and ALSO law student organizations.
Professor Kinyon has also taught at USF, which awarded him the 2023 Hon. Ira A. Brown Adjunct Faculty Award. He serves on the board of the Pacific Coast Farmers’ Market Association.
