Santa Clara University School of Law will be hosting an international panel on Wednesday, June 17th at 5:15 PM PST in recognition of World Refugee Day, which is held annually on June 20th. The event will provide a quick overview of Santa Clara Law’s various Centers, followed by a 75 minute panel discussion led by a Santa Clara University faculty member.

 

The panel will be made up of international voices to represent the variety of legal challenges in this global issue. We are excited for the opportunities that the virtual Zoom format brings and are pleased to share that Mary Anne Kenny, Associate Professor of Law at Murdoch University School of Law in Perth, Australia will share how the pandemic is affecting refugees and asylum seekers in Australia. We look forward to sharing more information about our speakers and this exciting panel shortly.
