7th Annual Solo Practice Seminar – CANCELLED

December 9, 2016 @ 8:30 am - 3:00 pm

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have your own law practice? Or, are you a solo practitioner eager to take your practice to the next level?

The Solo Practice Seminar will help you build the courage and confidence to succeed as a solo practitioner!

Whether you are a law student, just graduated, or you have been in practice for years, this program is for you. This year’s topics include:

  • The Logistics of Going Solo
  • Legal Marketing and Ethics
  • Fees: How to Get Paid, Arbitration, Upfront Collection

Immediately following lunch there will be a special 90-minute session facilitated by our Law Practice Management professors, Michelle Galloway and Krista Jacobsen. The session is dedicated to helping those in attendance build their professional development plans. The session will benefit both the person who is contemplating opening a practice and the experienced practitioner who wants to take their practice to the next level. Attorneys will leave that session with something real and tangible that can be implemented when they return to their office.

Don’t miss this exciting opportunity!

A continental breakfast and lunch will be served. No student tuition dollars will be spent on food. *Approved for up to 3 hours of California MCLE credit (including 1 hour of legal ethics).

This is a FREE event for current SCU law students and 2016 SCU Graduates. Fees for SCU Graduates 2015-2011 ($30.00); SCU Graduates 2010-Prior ($75.00); Non-SCU Graduates: ($150.00)
