This year, the Center for Social Justice and Public Service’s annual Benefit for Justice will be held in our new law school building, Charney Hall! Come join us at Santa Clara University on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 6-9pm for a night of socializing and fundraising. All proceeds from sales of auction items will help fund summer grants for students to do summer internships with public interest and social justice organizations.
The Benefit will feature both a live and silent auction, as well as music and refreshments. This year, the silent auction will take place online at https://www.32auctions.com/BenefitforJustice2018. In order to participate in the online silent auction, you MUST create an account with 32Auctions.
On Monday, August 20 at 12:00pm, the silent auction will commence with an art auction. There will be a large variety of artwork, including prized works from local artists, other historically renowned artists, and a few pieces of legal interest. All other items for the silent auction will be available on August 31. You can also bid on silent auction items during the Benefit from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in Charney Hall. The silent online auction will close at 8:00pm on Friday, September 7. We will have a live auction for other items from 8:00pm to 9:00pm in Charney Hall on Friday, September 7. Please join us at the Benefit for Justice and help support law students who are committed to using their legal training to advance social justice and public interest goals!
