Dear Members of the Santa Clara Law Community,

With the weather becoming crisper, the days getting shorter, and the leaves changing color, autumn is in full swing. For many of us, November is a special time for expressing gratitude–gratitude for the countless blessings we have received and gratitude for the wonderful people around us. This Thanksgiving month, let us show our appreciation for the joy and privilege of being together in our Santa Clara Law community, amongst our excellent students, dedicated staff, terrific faculty, and loyal and engaged alumni.

Santa Clara Law students–current and former–possess a unique set of attributes. Among them are intellectual curiosity, empathy, leadership, social awareness, and a deep desire to improve the world around them.

I want to give thanks to our wonderful alumni, volunteers, and donors, without whom Santa Clara Law would not be the successful institution it is today. Their generosity and continued engagement embody the spirit of giving and their commitment to achieving excellence, a cornerstone of Santa Clara’s Jesuit tradition. Our alumni truly are a beacon of light and hope for the entire Santa Clara Law community.

With warm regards and tremendous gratitude,

Michael J. Kaufman signature
