The School of Law enters student teams in a number of interschool, or external, trial competitions. These are hosted by law schools and other organizations around the country. During the first year of competing, students enroll in Advanced Trial Techniques, learning advanced litigation and trial strategy, and competing in trial competitions. Successful students may apply to serve on trial team again in subsequent years. If selected, students may earn one academic credit for every 50 hours of substantive work, supervised by the faculty coach. Graded Credit/No Credit.
