NEW Course: AI Governance taught by Professors Linsey Krolik and Lydia De La Torre

We're excited to announce a NEW AI course available beginning Spring of 2026!

Starting in Spring 2026, we’re launching a new course on AI Governance, focusing on the legal and policy frameworks guiding the responsible development and oversight of artificial intelligence. Students will examine key issues like risk, bias, ethics, and privacy to understand how governance can promote both innovation and public trust.

This new AI Governance course will introduce law students to the emerging field of AI Governance: the systems of laws, policies, frameworks, and practices that shape how organizations, governments, and international bodies oversee artificial intelligence.

Students will explore how AI can be developed and deployed responsibly by addressing issues such as risk management, bias, privacy, ethics, and misuse. The goal is to understand how effective governance can both mitigate harm and foster innovation and public trust in AI technologies.
