Dear Friends,
The 13th Annual Day of Giving is in just one week! Join us on Wednesday, April 8, from midnight to 11:59 pm to support our students, programs and initiatives, and wider mission. There are many ways to get involved both in-person and online — we are grateful for and look forward to your participation!
Please spread the word by posting on social media so your friends, families, and colleagues can get involved, too. Day of Giving 2026 Toolkit
Our Santa Clara Law deans have graciously committed to match up to $10,000 in gifts to Santa Clara Law through our Dean’s Challenge. Starting April 6th, you will be able to accept the challenge via our Day of Giving website. Select the PLEDGE fund to participate.
We’d love to see you at Panetta Plaza from noon to 1pm PST for our Day of Giving “Bash” where we’ll have music from DJ Kue aka Mike Morales from our Law Tech Team, fun games, and activities. The first 100 attendees will receive a free Day of Giving T-shirt and those who post to social media in their shirts will receive free boba.
We are also excited to have CBS 5 Bay Area's Sports Director Vern Glenn onsite to interview attendees. Share fun facts about yourself, what you love about Santa Clara Law, and more and you’ll receive a video of your interview with Vern to post on social media and to share with your family and friends.
Students, faculty, and staff will also be reaching out to donors and alumni over the phone during Day of Giving. This is a great opportunity to hear from members of our community and learn more about the positive impact donations to the law school will have. If you would like to join them in making phone calls, RSVP here. As a token of our appreciation, callers will receive a Santa Clara Law bucket hat and free boba for 20 minutes of phone calls.
Your support ensures that our Santa Clara Law family of students, faculty, staff-educators, and community partners can continue our important work of preparing future lawyers to lead with integrity and advocate for a more just, humane, and sustainable world. We can’t wait to see you on April 8th!
With warm regards and tremendous gratitude,
Michael J. Kaufman
