Be sure to catch “The Divide,” tonight – it’s a legal drama series inspired by innocence work which premiered last Wednesday on WE TV at 9/8c. The thrilling eight-episode series, created by “Scandal” star Tony Goldwyn and fellow creator and producer Richard LaGravenese, explores the various miscarriages of justice found within our modern criminal justice system through the story of Christine Rosa, played by Marin Ireland, who is a young, passionate Philadelphia law student and caseworker with The Innocence Initiative. “The Divide” focuses on her work in trying to prove the innocence of a death-row inmate who she believes was wrongfully convicted of the murder of a family 11 years earlier.
