Dean Lisa Kloppenberg has recently been named to the State Bar Task Force on Admissions Regulation Reform. Together with other attorneys, judges, pro bono administrators, clinicians, bar groups, and academics from across California, Kloppenberg will be working to create “a new set of training requirements focusing on competency and professionalism…in order to better prepare new lawyers for successful transition into law practice,” according to the State Bar web site.

“I am honored and excited to work with this task force,” says Kloppenberg. “This is important work that will help prepare future attorneys to serve their clients well and is line with some of the exciting work on competencies and professionalism already underway at Santa Clara Law.”
