Santa Clara University School of Law hosted its annual holiday party for faculty and staff on Thursday, December 8th in Adobe Lodge on the SCU campus.

More than 100 people attended and were entertained by Legal Research and Writing Instructors Sean Raft and Evangeline Abriel playing the piano (accompanied by her husband, Bill, on the saxophone).  In addition to their lovely music, later in the party everyone was treated to former dean and Professor Jerry Uelmen leading the group in the traditional singing of Christmas Carols while playing his accordion.  A good time was had by all!!

Dean Donald Polden acted as “Santa”, giving away several raffle prizes.  He extended best wishes to the faculty and staff of the law school for a happy, healthy holiday season, and said “It is a privilege to work with such a dedicated and talented group of faculty and staff.  My deepest appreciation goes out to all of you for the outstanding work you do throughout the year.”

On behalf of all of the faculty and staff at the law school, we extend our best wishes to our friends, graduates, students and others for a happy new year and a safe, enjoyable holiday season.
