A bill in California that would prohibit criminal convictions based solely on the uncorroborated testimony of a jailhouse informant recently passed the state Assembly. This was one of the recommendations made by the California Commission on the Fair Administration of Justice, of which NCIP’s Cookie Ridolfi was a member.
