Description: Lowenstein Sandler’s Intellectual Property Section of the Tech Group is seeking a Patent Agent who is a 1L or 2L to work as a 2012 Summer Associate. The position at Lowenstein Sandler’s Palo Alto office involves preparing, filing and prosecuting patent applications for software, including operating systems, middleware software, directory servers, network management, virtualization and cloud computing. The Patent Agent must have a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. Must be registered to practice before the USPTO. Work experience as a software developer is a plus, along with solid academic credentials. Salary will be $2,700/week as a Summer Associate.
