The GRAMMY Foundation is sponsoring the 16th Annual Entertainment Law Initiate writing competition and scholarship program. The scholarships are a joint effort of the GRAMMY Foundation and the ABA Forum on Entertainment and Sports Industries intended to provide law students with opportunities in the field of entertainment law.

The grand prize winner receives a $5,000 scholarship and the four runners-up each receive $1,500 scholarships. The winners are also flown to Los Angeles where they are honored at the Entertainment Law Initiative Luncheon in front of an audience comprised of some of the top entertainment attorneys in the country. The winners also attend GRAMMY week events including the GRAMMY Awards telecast,and the MusiCares Person of the Year Tribute.
