Sheeva Ghassemi-Vanni JD ’06 has been elected partner at Fenwick & West. Ms. Ghassemi-Vanni advises startups, private companies and established public companies on a variety of labor and employment issues including non-competition and employee mobility; hiring, performance management, and termination; leaves of absence and accommodation; harassment, discrimination, and retaliation; and wage and hour matters. She also represents clients in litigation related to these areas. In addition, Sheeva advises companies regarding labor and employment issues arising in mergers and acquisitions. She was named to Silicon Valley Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list of standout professionals in 2016. Sheeva earned her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law and B.A. from San Jose State University, and is a member of the State Bar of California.
