The National Law Journal named Santa Clara Law as one of its top 50 Go-To law schools. The list was determined by the percentage of 2013 law school graduates who took jobs at NLJ 250 firms – the nation’s largest by head count. Santa Clara was 44th with nearly 10% of our graduates taking jobs with large firms.

The National Law Journal also calculated where the top firms’ new partners came from.  Santa Clara Law placed 39th for associates who were promoted to partner last year. That places us in the top 20% of all law schools.

Santa Clara was also recognized by the National Jurist as one of 60 schools it named to its honor roll of schools that deliver practical training. The magazine based the ranking on four factors — three objective and one subjective. The three objective factors included the number of clinic positions per enrollment, the number of field placements or externships per enrollment, and the number of simulation courses per enrollment. The magazine pulled data from each school’s required ABA information.
