Congratulations to SCU External Moot Court Team members Paola Estanislao, Oanh Tran, Jaclyn Rey-Hipolito, Alaleh Kianerci, Elnaz Abdoli and Renee Bernard! The two teams competed recently at the ABA sponsored National Appellate Advocacy Competition, one of the largest competitions in the nation.

Oanh, Paola and Jaclyn advanced to the semi-final round which was held on Saturday afternoon at the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco. Although the team did not advanceto the final round, they made a strong showing for Santa Clara University School of Law.  The team members were accompanied by their coach,  Professor Angelo Ancheta, and bailiff, Justin Miyai. Again, congratulations for making it so far in the competition!
