Santa Clara Computer & High Tech Law Journal Names New Editors
"In an effort to leverage the outstanding work of our predecessors, this past year has been focused on the ever improving quality of the article content of the Journal, while working more closely with the High Technology Institute to bring top scholars to present at two symposiums on Intellectual Property Issues" said outgoing Editor-in-Chief, Elizabeth Morris. "We are confident that the incoming editorial board, backed by their considerable talents and expertise, will serve to build upon these successes and expand the Journal’s nationally-recognized leadership in its field. The Journal is currently ranked third in the Nation for high technology law, and we would love to see it continue to lead the discussion on emerging issues at the cutting edge of intellectual property and technology-related law."
The Journal's incoming Executive Board consists of the following
Arisha Hatch, Editor-in-Chief, comes to the Journal with extensive experience in publishing, having served as the Managing Editor at the Stanford Daily. She served as a Pacific -10 Conference Correspondent for Sports Illustrated, a press release author for Lincoln Mercury, and is author of a novel. Ms. Hatch has worked in IP law at Weil, Gotshal & Manages and will be spending this summer doing IP litigation at Gordon & Rees. Ms. Hatch is a J.D. candidate for 2007 and holds a B.A. in Economics and English from
Sriranga Veeraraghavan, Managing Editor, brings to the Journal a wealth of technical knowledge, with nearly 10 years of work in the
Bryan Boyle, Senior Production Editor, joins the Journal with extensive research experience in the field of biotechnology, having recently worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at
Jessica Cheh, Senior Production Editor, comes to the Journal with a broad range of experience. In addition to her work in insurance and management for TBG Financial West, she has served as a law clerk for the entertainment law firm of Costa, Abrams & Coate LLP and as a research assistant for Brauer Law Corporation. She is also involved in Honors Moot Court and has received the
Erika Izquierdo, Senior Comments Editor, brings to the Journal a diverse array of experience. Prior to law school, she worked in IT management for Hewlett Packard, and she currently serves as a legal intern for Intel and a student counselor at The Katherine &
