Santa Clara University School of Law will host an International Humanitarian Law Workshop sponsored by the International Committee of the Red Cross February 16 – 19, 2007. Forty law students from around the United States will gather at Santa Clara for a four day intensive program that combines lectures and practical real life exercises lead by legal professionals of the International Committee of the Red Cross and faculty members from Santa Clara University School of Law. Participating law faculty include; Professors Jiri Toman, Beth Van Schaack and Wil Burns. This is the only such workshop sponsored by the International Committee of the Red Cross to be held in the United States.
