Cynthia Tippett is the new Assistant Director of the High Tech Law Institute. Cindy comes to Santa Clara Law from the University of Maryland School of Law, where she served as Coordinator for the nationally-ranked Law and Health Care Program and Director of Health Law Externships. In that capacity she administered all aspects of the program; advised Health Law Certificate students; managed conferences, speaker series, and panels; and oversaw print publications and the program's website. 

She previously worked as an Associate with Zuckerman Spaeder LLP, and concurrently as an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Biology at the Community College of Baltimore County. Cindy earned her JD from the University of Maryland School of Law, her MS in Biological Sciences from the University of Maryland, and her BA in English and Biology from Georgia Southern University.
