lynette parker

Katharine & George Alexander Community Law Center Immigration Supervising Attorney and Santa Clara University School of Law faculty Lynette Parker will receive the Beacon of Light Award from the Santa Clara County Office of Immigrant Relations on Friday, February 26

During her tenure at the Katharine & George Alexander Community Law Center, Professor Parker has provided legal advice and representation to hundreds of low-income residents of Santa Clara and neighboring counties.

Her work with survivors of human trafficking has led to her collaboration with numerous local organizations to provide comprehensive and coordinated relief to her clients, including counseling, housing, and legal support, among other crucial services.

Through the years, she has contributed to the education of hundreds of law students who go on to become attorneys of competence, conscience and compassion – values she takes to new heights every day in the service of our immigrant community.

Lynette Parker’s award ceremony will take place at 2310 North 1st St., Ste. 102, Training Rooms 1 & 2 in San Jose, CA. To attend, please RSVP by emailing Sergio Lopez (smlopez@scu.edu).
