Professor Kerry Macintosh will be named the Inez Mabie Distinguished Professor of Law (for a term of 8/1/18-7/31/23). Professor Macintosh publishes in prestigious venues on cutting edge issues relating to law, biotechnology and ethics. Her latest books, Human Cloning and Illegal Beings, were both published by Cambridge University Press. She follows in the footsteps of the previous chair holder, Professor Brad Joondeph.
Professor Michelle Oberman will receive a second term as the Katharine and George Alexander Professor of Law (8/1/18-7/31/21). Professor Oberman works on reproductive issues and criminal law matters, publishing regularly in major news outlets and highly regarded law journals. Her most recent books, Her Body, Our Laws; When Mothers Kill and Mothers Who Kill Their Children, were published by New York University Press.
