Director of International Human Rights Clinic Awarded Grant to Support Litigation efforts for Dominicans of Haitian Descent

Francisco Rivera Juaristi, Assistant Clinical Professor and Director of Santa Clara Law’s International Human Rights Clinic, has been awarded a 2014-2015 Bannan Institute Collaborative Solidarity Grant: “Solidarity with Persecuted Jesuits in the Dominican Republic” in the amount of $5,000 from Santa Clara University’s Ignatian Center for Jesuit Education. This project will make contributions to support ongoing litigation and advocacy efforts for Dominicans of Haitian descent in the Dominican Republic and the education and formation of Santa Clara Law students.
