On June 13, Professor Colleen Chien testified before the House Judiciary Committee Intellectual Property Subcommittee on her research on patent venue in the wake of the Supreme Court’s TC Heartland ruling. She testified about how patent cases would redistribute, including to Districts in California and Delaware as a result of the decision. She and Professor Brian Love of the law school co-authored a brief signed by over 60 law and economics academics on the case.
