On January 17, 2018, Santa Clara Law hosted the 14th Annual Judge William Ingram Symposium. This year’s symposium featured a discussion about the controversial but highly relevant topic of implicit bias in the administration of justice. Federal District Court Judge Mark Bennett of the S.D. of Iowa and Song Richardson, Dean and Professor of Law at University of California Irvine School of Law, discussed the emerging importance of implicit bias by police, jurors and lawyers and judges.  Their hour long discussion, moderated by Dean Emeritus and Professor Law Donald Polden, is available for viewing here.
