MISSION STATEMENT:

CLS is a national non-denominational membership organization of attorneys, judges, law professors, and law students, working in association with others, to follow Jesus' command "to do justice with the love of God." (Luke 11:42; Matthew 23:23).

DESCRIPTION:

The Christian Legal Society is a group of Santa Clara University Law Students who meet regularly for prayer and fellowship. We provide a safe, welcome, and open-minded atmosphere for group members.

President: David Nazzaro (3L)

David grew up in the Bay Area. After graduating from Regis University in Denver, he continued his education at Cal State San Bernardino and the American Military University. Before law school, he lived in South Korea for two years and Taiwan for five. He likes hiking, jazz music and cooking.

Vice President: Ying-Hua Betty Sun (2L)

Betty has been a part of the Christian Legal Society for 1 year, acting as its secretary and then treasurer. Before coming to California, she attended Boston Chinese Evangelical Church for four years. Although new to the Christian community, she enjoys the interaction with fellow brothers and sisters very much. Betty has a MSc. from the University of British Columbia and is interested in intellectual property and international business law.
