A recent uptick in scam calls and emails has been reported by SCU affiliates during the last few weeks. With the size and popularity of the Kasner Symposium growing over the past few years, we have noticed more targeted scamming attempts that use the Symposium and/or University’s name. Please note that all official communications related to the Kasner Symposium will come from a Santa Clara University phone number or email (@scu.edu) or from our event manager, Stacey Scheirer, using the Kasner domain (stacey.scheirer@kasner.org).  If you receive any other calls or emails (such as an offer of discounted rooms at the Hyatt Hotel), please contact a Kasner representative immediately.
