This summer, law students and faculty traveled to San Jose, Costa Rica as part of Santa Clara University School of Law’s Summer Abroad program. Their experiences fighting for human rights in a real-world setting are highlighted in a new video:

“One student actually said, ‘I learned more about real life today in the field trip than I did in all my years of education combined,'” said International Human Rights Clinic director Francisco Rivera. “I think that was fantastic.”

Santa Clara Law’s Summer Abroad program is open to individuals currently enrolled in law school and offers global experience at over 10 locations worldwide.
