Ms. Peacock comes to Santa Clara Law from her own law practice where she focused on tax and estate planning issues. She was previously Vice President and Counsel for Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. for eight years, where her areas of expertise included litigation, banking, ERISA and securities law. Ms. Peacock also worked as an Associate for Trucker Huss, APC in San Francisco. Ms. Peacock earned her JD and LL.M. in taxation from Golden Gate University of Law, and her BA from the University of California at Irvine. She is a member of the State Bar of California and the San Mateo County Bar Association.
Ms. Peacock is also an active community leader and volunteer both within the legal profession and with non-profit organizations. She was a volunteer Legal Research Attorney for the San Mateo County Superior Court and has served as the chair of the Barristers Pension and Benefits Committee for the San Francisco Bar Association. She has served on several educational and non-profit boards and is currently on the Board of Directors for the Junior League of Palo Alto Mid Peninsula, a women’s civic leadership organization with over one thousand members. She is also a founding member of the Silicon Valley networking organization PoWeR Partners.
Ms. Peacock is a Bay Area native with significant experience with the local high tech community. Together with her husband (a Santa Clara Law alumnus, patent attorney and entrepreneur), she has been involved with five medical device start ups that have raised more than $100 million over the last decade.
