Womble Carlyle, a national law firm with more than 500 lawyers and nearly 90 IP professionals firm-wide, will become a Benefactor sponsor of the High Tech Law Institute (HTLI) at Santa Clara Law. Through its Benefactor program, the HTLI helps law firms achieve their attorney recruiting and client development objectives.  In addition, Mike Gencarella (J.D. ’96), Womble Carlyle’s Silicon Valley office managing partner, will join the HTLI’s High Tech Advisory Board.

“We feel very fortunate to have the support of Womble Carlyle and to have an experienced IP practitioner like Mike join our advisory board,” said Joy Peacock, Assistant Director of the HTLI.  “The support of Womble Carlyle and our other Benefactor firms helps us provide one of the leading intellectual property law programs in the country.”

“We are excited to partner with Santa Clara Law and the High Tech Law Institute in such a meaningful way,” stated Gencarella.
