Dear Law Students,

Are you interested in serving as a mentor for one or two of our incoming law exchange students this coming fall semester? We are expecting twelve students from The Netherlands, Switzerland, India, Finland, Germany, Belgium, and Austria. We will place one mentor with one or two exchange students, for the entirety of their stay here at Santa Clara University.

We ask that mentors make themselves available to answer questions the student may have about life as a law student, life in Silicon Valley, and life in the United States. We also ask that mentors take their exchange student out to a reimbursed lunch/coffee at least twice during the semester and hopefully out to dinner once.

If you are interested, please send an email to me at eamberg@scu.edu by Wednesday, June 12 with the following information:

1) your name & phone number
2) year in law school
3) places you have traveled & if you know any other languages
4) a short explanation on why you would like to serve as a mentor

We look forward to hearing from you. Hope you have a great summer break!

Best,

Elyse Amberg
