January 12, 2010 at 1:44 PM
For most of us, one of two things are occurring as the grades roll in: your lofty visions of evaluating numerous big firm, six-figure offers next Fall during OCI are crashing ever so violently against the trampled first-floor carpet of Bannan Hall; or, the prior assumption that you'll most likely need to settle for whatever public interest firm is willing to toss you a bone upon graduation is suddenly a severe underestimation of your qualifications. August 24, 2009 at 9:00 AM

August 19, 2009 at 1:32 PM
I would say that if there is one thing most people seem to be pretty confused about in this, our first week of law school, it's whether or not to embark on that age-old tradition of forming study groups. There's a great scene in the beginning of "The Paper Chase" when James Hart and the rest of the 1Ls are deciding how to utilize the group. The first thing they do is "assign outlines." This produces a fight as to who gets to take care of which subject. Read More ...
