Peter Wendel

Professor of Law, Pepperdine University School of Law
Professor Peter T. Wendel is a member of Pepperdine University School of Law faculty. He served for three years as an assistant professor at St. Louis University School of Law before joining the Pepperdine faculty in 1991. He will teach Wills and Trusts and Community Property at Santa Clara. He earned his juris doctor from University of Chicago Law School in 1983 (cum laude). He also received a masters degree from St. Louis University in 1980. He received his bachelors degree from University of Chicago in 1979 (cum laude). Professor Wendel has recently published three books: A Possessory Estates and Future Interests Primer (2nd ed. West); Emanuel's Wills, Trust and Estate (Aspen); and Exam-Pro Property (West). A member of the Illinois, Missouri, and American Bar Associations, Professor Wendel teaches primarily in the property and wills and trusts areas of law.
