Ms. Powers is Senior Counsel at Borson Law Group, specializing in intellectual property law. She most recently held the positions of Assistant Dean for International and Comparative Law (2005 - 2008), and Assistant Dean for Law and Technology (2001 - 2003) at Santa Clara University School of Law. Her career spans private practice to in-house counsel. Ms. Powers is a member of the California bar and is a registered patent attorney. She is the Editor of New Matter, the publication of the IP Section of the CA State Bar. Ms. Powers Co-authored IP Strategy: Complete Intellectual Property Planning, Access and Protection (with Howard Anawalt) from which she teaches Protection of IP.
