Elizabeth Miles, Counsel for Apple iTunes, practices intellectual property and internet law with a focus on digital media. Previously a member of the Emerging Companies Group at Orrick, Herrington, & Sutcliffe, LLP, Ms. Miles has prepared and negotiated a variety of intellectual property and business development transactions, including music, video, and other content licenses; web and wireless distribution, integration, marketing, and advertising agreements; enterprise and end user software licenses; intellectual property assignments; technology development, distribution, and manufacturing agreements; nondisclosure and confidentiality agreements; web site user agreements and privacy policies; and other commercial transactions.

Before her career as an attorney, Ms. Miles was a book author, CD producer, and ethnomusicologist. She is the author or co-author of several non-fiction books and creator of a CD and radio series relating to music's effects on the body and brain.
