Since his graduation from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1987, Mr. Mandel has served as an attorney at the Office of the Public Defender in Santa Clara county. He has tried every type of case, including murder and murder with special circumstance cases. He has supervised the misdemeanor, juvenile and homicide teams. He is currently the Chief Litigation Deputy.
