Michael Lawrence


Biography

Michael Lawrence is an antitrust lawyer with extensive in-house experience at high-tech companies. He has regularly focused on the intersection of intellectual property and antitrust law. Mr. Lawrence is Competition Counsel at Google Inc. From 2005 to 2011, he was a competition attorney at Intel Corporation. Before that, he spent most of his legal career at Latham & Watkins where he specialized in intellectual property, antitrust and commercial litigation. Outside of his professional work, Mr. Lawrence taught Intellectual Property as an adjunct professor at Loyola Law School from 2003 to 2005. He also served as Editor-in-Chief of Antitrust and Intellectual Property, a publication of the ABA Section of Antitrust Law, from 2005 to 2007.
