Peter Kirwan was appointed Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge in February, 2006. Mr. Kirwan was previously a founder and partner with the law firm of Needham, Davis, Kirwan & Young LLP from 2001 to 2006, a partner with the law firm of Hoge, Fenton, Jones and Appel Inc. from 1993 to 2001, and an associate attorney there from 1986 to 1993. Mr. Kirwan has been a member of the American Inns of Court (Santa Clara Chapter) since 1988.

Mr. Kirwan is a frequent lecturer for Continuing Legal Education seminars.
