Jamie Jacobs-May


Biography

Judge Jacobs-May is currently a Presiding Judge of the Superior Court, County of Santa Clara. She presides over unlimited civil trials and provides coverage for other divisions hearing felony trials, juvenile dependency and juvenile delinquency matters. She is also a Civil Case Manager, presiding over law and motion, ex parte requests, settlement conferences, and case management conferences. Additionally, Judge Jacobs-May presided over a direct Family Law calendar and handled all matters involving custody, support and division of property in dissolution matters.

 

In 2010, Judge Jacobs-May was named "Jurist of the Year" by the Santa Clara County Bar Association.

 

In 2009, she was awarded San Jose Business Journal Woman of Influence "Judge of the Year" by the Santa Clara County Trial Lawyers Association.
