Julie A. Emede is a Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge, currently serving in the criminal domestic violence division. Prior to appointment to the bench in December 2009, Judge Emede was a family law attorney handling all aspects of family law cases including marital/domestic partner dissolutions, parentage cases, guardianships, step-parent/domestic partnership adoptions, and court-appointed representation of children. Judge Emede also held numerous leadership positions in the Santa Clara County Bar Association, including serving as SCCBA President in 2005.
