Matt Eisenbrandt


Biography

Matt Eisenbrandt is the former Legal Director for the Center for Justice & Accountability, a non-profit organization that works to prevent torture and other severe human rights abuses by helping survivors hold perpetrators accountable through legal cases. During five years at CJA, he was CJA's lead counsel in trials against military commanders from El Salvador and Haiti as well as a lawsuit against a former Air Force captain for his role in the assassination of beloved Salvadoran Archbishop Oscar Romero. He is currently a consultant for CJA while he is writing a book about Romero assassination.
