Mr. Duranske is Payments Counsel for Facebook. Previous to joining Facebook, Mr. Duranske practiced law for several years in the San Francisco bay area, representing both local and global high-tech companies. In the late 1990s, before becoming an attorney, Mr. Duranske worked as an information technology manager.

Mr. Duranske's practice focuses on payments, compliance, and regulation regarding virtual currency. His areas of technical focus include virtual worlds, video games, social networks, computer software, user-generated content, e-commerce, and wireless telecommunications.
