Wendell Wallach is the 2018 SCU Department of Philosophy visiting Austin J. Fagothey, S.J., Chair, a specialist in the ethics of technology, and an expert in the ethics of robotics and AI. In this lecture, he will consider the risks associated with artificial intelligence and consider a framework for governance over this powerful new technology. This event is co-sponsored by the Department of Philosophy at Santa Clara University, the High Tech Law Institute at Santa Clara Law, and the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics.
