Course Description:The international human rights clinic (IHRC) provides a unique educational opportunity for students to gain first-hand, practical experience working on international human rights litigation and advocacy projects. The clinic combines classroom education with supervised case and project management, providing students practical training in advocacy and lawyering skills. For every 50 hours of participation in the program, including casework and class attendance, a student earns one unit. The first 3 units of academic credit earned at IHRC are graded. Any earned units above 3 are graded credit/no credit.
