Pro Bono Recognition Award Luncheon

The Pro Bono Recognition Award Luncheon is an effort to recognize and celebrate Santa Clara Law students who have shown a deep commitment to community service. All award recipients, faculty, deans, and community leaders are invited to attend.

 

In order to receive a Pro Bono Recognition Award, a student must complete a minimum of 50 volunteer hours within an academic year. For more details of the requirements, please visit our Pro Bono Recognition Program webpage. Award recipients will also be formally recognized at the annual Public Interest & Social Justice Graduation Ceremony.

 

During the 2011-2012 academic year, 79 Santa Clara Law students received this award. They completed more than 9,500 hours of pro bono service, with an average of 120 hours per student.
